The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical will kick off its National Tour in our nation's capital this Fall, following a special sneak-peek engagement in New Haven, CT.

Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of The Public Theater, commented, "HAIR is coming to the country! The Public Theater was founded on touring, and we're delighted to continue that tradition by bringing HAIR's message of peace and freedom across the United States."

In addition to the Tony Award, the Broadway production of HAIR was named Best Musical Revival by the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League.

The full creative team behind the Broadway production is on board for the National Tour, including Diane Paulus (Director), Karole Armitage (Choreography), Scott Pask (Scenic Design), Michael McDonald (Costume Design), Kevin Adams (Lighting Design) and ACME Sound Partners (Sound Design). HAIR features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.

HAIR continues on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and in London at the Gielgud Theatre, and is presented in New York by The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D.
