Full Dates Announced for MOTOWN Tour

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Motown Founder, Berry Gordy today announced the full route for the upcoming leg of the touring production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. The tour will open at the Smith Center in Las Vegas following a tech/preview period in Utica, NY. The full schedule can be found below.

The show was recently nominated for eleven 2016 NAACP Theatre Awards, garnering four of the top awards at the 26th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards ceremony held in Beverly Hills on Monday, November 21, 2016. The first national tour of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL won for Best Playwright (Berry Gordy), Best Choreography (Patricia Wilcox and Warren Adam), Best Costumes (ESosa), and Best Sound (Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook).

MOTOWN THE MUSICAL has played to wide critical and audience acclaim since the tour first opened in Chicago in 2014. "The hits just keep on coming! Featuring show-stopping turns and tightly choreographed routines by performers who completely channel the stars they portray," said The Boston Globe. The St. Louis Dispatch said, "Supremely entertaining! Music's greatest songbook comes alive in glorious fashion!"
