L'ÉTÉ DANSE ! With the Company of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo.
From 16 to 19 July, the dancers will perform three equally demanding and accomplished pieces in the same evening. With New Sleep by William Forsythe, they breathe new life into a choreography considered as an astounding illustration of Forsythe's work in the 1980s.
Then Marco Goecke will present a creation devised especially for the company's dancers. The physicality and energy required for his ballets make them complex to perform and have made the Ballets de Monte-Carlo a preferred partner for this explosive artist.
Finally, the Company will perform Petite Mort by Jirí Kylián, a masterpiece in the history of dance which contributed to the Czech artist's recognition.
