The Stuttgart Theatre House Ensemble by Eric Gauthier has been one of the indispensable persons under the dance companies that guesting at the Grand Théâtre. This time does not the chief director, but the Italian star choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti. He devotes himself to a piece that cries out for a fanciful dance downright implementation: The fairy tale Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, a work of world literature, originated in 1865 as a novel for children as for adults.

The adventures of little Alice are a veritable festival of fantasy. Everything is possible, everything must be thought. It is the imagination that makes us free people. Free to crawl into a rabbit hole and meet the strangest creatures. Free to change our size and shape. Free to play through our fears and fantasies. Free to think that and to feel what we please.

At Alice irritates Mauro Bigonzetti especially the hallucinatory atmosphere of the game with endless possibilities, images, sounds and events. For the batch of heroine he has already found his ideal occupations. With her effortless virtuosity, sensitive charisma and flaming red mane the Company Member Anna Suheyla Harms is equally suited for the adventures in Bigonzettis Wonderland. Even the appropriate official seal of approval it has already in the bag. In a glittering gala at the Schiller Theater in Berlin in 2013, she was awarded the prestigious German Theatre Prize FIST in the category Actor / Actress dance. Together with her is Garazi Perez Oloriz as Alice Numero 2 on stage. A typical Bigonzetti - the choreographer occupied roles often with several performers to bring out the different facets of a character.

In addition, in the same boat: the set and lighting designer Carlo Cerri and a well-rehearsed fünfkopfiges musical team. The latter is the hot touch of real passion contribute to each performance to the theater. So passionate and tart as the music is also the mythical kingdom of Alice, which hovers Bigonzetti.
