Both an artistic step, this creation is a true life stage. In 2008, at the initiative of Nawal Ait Benalla-Lagraa Abu Lagraa returned to Algeria to try to find his roots. As a highlight, the two artists decided to work and invest in designing the "Mediterranean Cultural Franco-Algerian Bridge", which gives rise to the Contemporary Ballet of Algiers.

El Djoudour is the third shared creation with Algerian dancers. Abu Lagraa went draw inspiration from his Algerian roots. Dancer, choreographer, western, French, North African, he wanted to focus on creating this perception of the body in Eastern culture. The report to the body of the other is marked by modesty and respect for privacy. Strongly influenced by frustration with legal separation between men and women. In El Djoudour Abu Lagraa reveals a range of relations between the two sexes, far from the usual clichés. This body work is accompanied by a subtle music composed by the troubling accents Olivier Innocenti, and songs of the Algerian singer Houria Aichi. Although the Algerian choreographer roots remain the starting point of this creation, El Djoudour is a profoundly future-oriented and resolutely open to the other show.
