A LUCKY DEBUT IN

A LUCKY DEBUT IN "GODOT"!: Young actor Shawn Lee Martin made his Chicago professional stage debut in the roles of Lucky and The Boy in Director Darryl Maximilian Robinson's 1997 Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago revival staging of "Waiting For Godot" at The Heartland Cafe Studio Theatre in Chicago. Shawn Lee would receive excellent reviews and earn a 1998 WKKC Radio Chicago Critic's Corner Fine Arts Award for Outstanding Debut Performance By An Actor In A Play for his work in "Godot."
