Jackie Wilson is resurrected via state-of-the-art hologram technology to sing classic hits (like "Higher & Higher") and live out the highs and tragic lows of his life story. Wilson was the RnB star who invented the stage presence that Elvis Presley, James Brown and Michael Jackson would learn so much from. Caught up in the corruption of the record business at the time--and his own vices for sex and drugs--Wilson finally slipped into a coma, with Elvis and M.J. paying his last hospital bills. The show presents Jackie, known as Mr. Excitement, in all his glory though--a powerful voice, who helped invent Rock and Roll.
