From modern to postmodern, hip hop to contemporary ballet, the program includes repertory from iconic choreographers, including Trisha Brown, Rennie Harris, Merce Cunningham, and others staged by CalArts faculty and guest artists who have deep first-hand knowledge of the work: Canfield, orginal choreography by Merce Cunningham (1969)Staged by Holley Farmer, formerly of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company Solo Olos, original choreography by Trisha Brown (1976) Staged by CalArts faculty Samuel Wentz, formerly of the Trisha Brown Dance Company Shelter, original choreography by Jawole Willa Jo Zollar (1988) Staged by Urban Bush Women company-member, Marjani Fort Falling Angels, original choreography by Jiri Kylin (1989) Staged by Fiona Lummis, formerly of Netherlands Dance Theater and an originating member of the cast Facing Mekka, original choreography by Rennie Harris (2003) Staged by CalArts faculty Nina Flagg, formerly of Rennie Harris Puremovement and and an originating member of the cast
