Hologram USA To Debut 'Higher & Higher: The Jackie Wilson Story' Hologram USA Networks Inc. today announced the date for the launch of its new hologram stage show, Higher & Higher: The Jackie Wilson Story. The show, from the leader of hologram technology founded by Greek billionaire Alki David, tracks the wild life of the R&B star, dubbed Mr. Excitement, all the way to the end when Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley paid his hospital bills. In the same 30-minute narrative format that Hologram USA pioneered with its successful show, Billie Holiday Alive!, the new show Higher & Higher dramatizes scenes from the legend's life--including the sex, drugs and rock & roll-- in addition to presenting his stage presence in all its glory.

Higher & Higher: The Jackie Wilson Story will debut with a red carpet premiere on June 7, 2018 at the Hologram USA Theater at 6656 Hollywood Boulevard. It will be followed by daily shows. A video and remix of the song "Higher and Higher" will also be released.

Wilson is an R&B and Rock & Roll hero whose time for new recognition is long overdue. An early bandmate of Motown founder Berry Gordy, Wilson was at the heart of the creation of modern pop music in America in the 1950's. His electrifying stage presence caused riots, and he is credited with having created many of the moves that gave James Brown, Michael Jackson and Elvis their careers.

"When I first heard the music of Jackie Wilson, I was incredibly moved. But when I spoke with his family about his life, I knew we needed to produce our next show about him," says Hologram USA CEO Alki David. "We're creating an immersive experience where audiences can discover not just the music but the lives of great artists. In the show we see him rise and fall, love and fight, and invent music that changed history."

The show uses the same patented hologram technology as Billie Holiday Live!, the Hologram USA Theater's first show--which has been seen by thousands on the Walk of Fame since its debut in November. That show was praised for bringing Holiday back for modern audiences with Broadway World among others saying the experience was, "life changing." (The Holiday show will continue to run in tandem with the new show).

The Hollywood Boulevard theater is the first dedicated hologram theater in the world. The next three, in a planned roll-out of hundred and fifty theaters nationwide, will open soon in Chicago, Indianapolis and Foxwoods, CT. The theater is optimized for VR streaming of hologram events over parent company FilmOn Networks' global streaming content platform, and for beaming live events to multiple theaters. A pilot music listening party for rapper Chief Keef drew standing room only crowds in December. The Hologram USA theater serves Swissx CBD Oil popcorn and chocolates at its concession stand.

Hologram USA controls the patented Pepper's Ghost technology behind the famous Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson holograms and is the only company that creates lifelike, life-size images. Hologram USA has partnered with the Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, the House of Dior, Disney/ABC, Anheuser Busch and the Universal Music Group to create hologram events all over the world, including using live telepresence to "beam" Jimmy Kimmel, Florida Georgia Line, The Band Perry, Jack Black, Julian Assange and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
