Cathy Rigby takes flight in an all new production of Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan July 24-29 at Starlight Theatre in Swope Park. The show about the boy who wouldn't grow up has been "sprinkled with some extra fairy dust and is more awe-inspiring than ever."

"Peter Pan is one of my favorite shows," said Denton Yockey, president and executive producer of Starlight Theatre. "It's a great story that has everything: pirates, Indians, mermaids, crocodiles, fairies - and best of all, flying. Plus, this show has Cathy Rigby. She is amazing! Audiences will get to see her fly over the Starlight stage performing more aerial choreography than ever before.

"For many Kansas Citians and especially for Starlight patrons, Peter Pan was the first Broadway show they ever saw. It's so fun to see parents and grandparents continuing the tradition of introducing the next generation to musical theater with this show," he said.

Since 1990, Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby has made four stops on Broadway, garnering the show four Tony® Nominations including Best Revival of a Musical and for Cathy, Best Actress in a Musical and two Emmy Awards.

Broadway's Brent Barrett (who last appeared at Starlight in Chicago) and Kim Crosby (Cinderella in the original Into the Woods) will play Mr. Darling/Captain Hook and Mrs. Darling. PETER PAN is produced by McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Nederlander Presentations, Albert Nocciolino in association with Larry Earl.
