Dixon Place Presents Workshop Production of POLYLOGUES

Dixon Place presents a workshop production of Polylogues, created & performed by Xandra Clark and directed by Molly Clifford, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie St, New York, NY 10002) After a sold-out run at The Tank in 2018, Polylogues returns with performances on Valentines Day Thursday, February 14, Thursday, February 21,and Friday, February 22 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available for advance purchase at www.dixonplace.org, show runs approximately 75 minutes with no intermission. Celebrate Valentine's Day with a specialty cocktail (Polypunch) included with ticket purchase on February 14.

Polylogues is a funny, interview-based solo show that explores nonmonogamy-and love in all its forms. Writer/performer Xandra Clark forges a living polyamorous community on the stage with a diverse set of voices-from a senior citizen who's been poly for decades, a child worried about her open parents to conservative evangelical swingers, Polylogues examines the boundaries, desires, and fears of love in the 21st century.

Xandra Clark (Creator/Writer/Performer) is an actor/writer/documentarian whose work explores multiplicity, ambiguity, and the boundaries of perspective between self and other. Her work has been featured at The Tank, The Flea, Weeksville Heritage Center, Five Myles, Judson Church, Queer Abstract, Caveat, and Brooklyn College, and been funded by NYSCA/Brooklyn Arts Council, Brooklyn Community Foundation, and Stanford Alumni Arts. She is a 2018-19 Queer|Art Fellow in Performance and is a company member of The Bats at The Flea, Poetic Theater Productions, and folk choir Ukrainian Village Voices. She co-leads Colt Coeur's theater education program and received the 2013 General Oliver P. Smith Award for Local Reporting from the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Emma Orme (Producer) is a Brooklyn-based actor, singer, and producer. She has worked as a video producer for The New York Times, and an actor and event producer for both the Williamstown Theatre Festival and The Flea Theater, where she is a member of The Bats. Producing credits include: NYT Critics' Pick Red Emma & The Mad Monk (The Tank), Flea Fridays (The Flea), and NYT Critics' Pick AGNES (Lesser America). Baxter Pitt (Lighting and Projection Designer) is a multidisciplinary theatre designer. They are a graduate of the University of Evansville, currently based out of New York. They have spent the past three seasons with the Williamstown Theatre Festival working on lighting and projections.
