CONFESSIONS OF A MORMON BOY
is Steven Fale's compelling, humorous and inspiring true story about a gay man who went from being a model Mormon Boy in Utah to a high priced call boy in New York City. His captivating tale takes audiences through his excommunication from the Mormon Church, conversion therapy, divorce, male prostitution and drug abuse as he struggles to reclaim himself, his children and his Donny Osmond smile. It highlighted Rising Action Theatre's 2008 Season.

Performed Thursday at 8 PM/ Sat at 3 PM/ Sun at 4 PM

"As Moving as it is funny" New York Daily News.
"Fales life is the stuff of great theatre..riveting surprising, remarkable and painfully honest' Associated Press

MISSIONARY POSITION

is an irreverent and campy look at what goes on behind the scenes of this unique Mormon right of Passage to the Mormon Machine. From regimented Mission life to the religious highs of the Celestial Room in the Mormon Temples, the play defines anyones coming of age in a rigid world where they don't quite fit in no matter how hard they try.

Performed: Fri at 8 PM/ Sat at 7 PM

Warning Missionary Position contains full frontal nudity.

"Plenty of seduction. Feels right in tune with Obama's era of accountability Engaging and truly subversive." LA Times On Missionary Position

WHO'S YOUR DADDY (Premiere) is a fantasia on fatherhood that will thrill you as it takes you to the fight of a father's life in the Utah Courts as well as Mormon Boy's Search for his long lost Greek grandfather.. Any parent or child who has ever felt estranged or alienated will appreciate this haunting, funny, and powerful piece on family reconciliation.  It is a play where Fale's Confronts his own failings as a son and father.

Performed Sat at 9 PM/ Sun at 7 PM

Steven Fales is a classically trained actor. Steven began writing when his perfect Mormon world fell apart. Born in Utah but raised in Las Vegas, this sixth generation Mormon trained on scholarship at the Boston Conservatory before serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Portugal. He then transferred to Brigham Young University finishing his BFA in Musical Theatre. He Holds an MFA in acting from the University of Connecticut.

Conservatives may think he an anti-Mormon, but his performances are actually faith-based, and he is a dedicated prodigal father and son, a returned Missionary, and a recovering prostitute with a Master's degree who advocates sanity wherever it is needed.
