In January, The Studio Theatre™ Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) will open the third production of its third season with the musical It Shoulda Been You; Music by Barbara Anselmi, and Book & Lyrics by Brian Hargrove.

This riotous musical comedy, full of secrets, family drama, plot twists, and surprise will make you want to catch the bouquet! Lift the veil and go behind the scenes of a Jewish bride and Catholic groom's wedding day. This wedding comes complete with an intruding ex-boyfriend, a secret prenup, a panini press, and drunk Aunt Sheila! - What could go wrong?

Portraying the sister-of-the-bride, Jenny Steinberg, is Chantelle Cognevich. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Chantelle is a graduate of The America Musical and Dramatic Academy, with her BFA in musical theatre from the University of West Florida. Chantelle is a familiar face to The Studio Theatre; she played Susan last season in Company. She is currently working with the non-profit PenArts, Inc. in the regional production of See What I Wanna See before returning to The Studio Theatre's stage. The Pensacola News Journal said this of her performance in Time Stands Still, "In Cognevich's hands, Mandy starts out as the epitome of sincere, over-zealous youth, but she does not stay there. Mandy has surprises for us and I like the subtle evolution Cognevich employs as this supporting character gains strength."

Playing the mother-of-the-groom, Georgette Howard, is actress Karel K. Wright. This will be her first appearance on The Studio Theatre's stage. The Tampa Bay Times has hailed her for her role as Delia Coleman in One Slight Hitch at American Stage as, "A mesmerizing performance by Wright brings out hidden jewels within the script." And BroadwayWorld was wowed by her portrayal of Dr. Benjamin Franklin in Mad Cow's All Female 1776, "Wright provides the production with an ample dose of joy. She has long been one of my favorite Central Florida actors, and she delivers another memorable performance as Franklin." Born and raised in Hibbing, Northern Minnesota, Wright received her MFA from the University of Illinois. She completed her internship at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park where she proudly earned her membership into The Actors Equity Association. She continued her formal training at the legendary American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Before arriving at The Studio Theatre, she is playing Mag, in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, at The Jewel Theatre in Santa Cruz, California.

The cast also includes: BT Bauer (Judy Steinberg), Bob Brandenburg (Murray Steinberg), Monica Titus (Rebecca Steinberg), David Paul Rowan (Marty Kaufman), Sean Cullen Carroll (George Howard), Tyler Beauregard (Brian Howard), Brittney Caldwell (Annie Sheps), Ben Lamoureux (Greg Madison), Ralph Prentice Daniel (Albert), Brian Chambers (Walt/ Uncle Morty), Sara Jones (Mimsy/ Aunt Sheila), Marissa Volpe (U/S Jenny/ Rebecca), Vallea Woodbury (U/S Annie Sheps), Alyson Johnston (U/S Mimsy/ Aunt Shelia), Casey Casteel (U/S Marty/ Brain/ Greg).
