CROWNS to Inspire at Cape Fear Regional Theatre Beginning Today CROWNS, a gospel musical, will run at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre from May 17 to June 3. This production is adapted by Regina Taylor from the book of the same name by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry.

Building off the idea that there is a hat for every occasion, CROWNS tells the story of Grandma Shaw, young Yolanda and Grandma Shaw's circle of "Hat Queens." This stirring and touching tale is sure to inspire audiences and prove that no one is alone in the world.

This production is directed by Donna Bradby and seeks to show that a woman's hat speaks long before she even utters a word.
