Sid is a lifetime New York Metropolitan baseball fan. His wife, Myrna hates baseball and the effect that it has on her husband. Desperate for support and understanding, Syd begins a conversation with the host of a New York Sports Radio station. What happens next is a magical adventure that takes Sid from his modest apartment in Queens to the NY METS broadcast booth in LA. His life will never be the same.

FRANCESCA: 40’s, Sports Radio Host. She has no patience for callers who don't get to the point immediately. Sees herself as an authority on baseball. This is a gruff and ready gal who was born and bred in Brooklyn or the Bronx.
