BREAKDOWN

LOLA (understudy only) - Female. 26. Puerto Rican. A tough tomboy you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley. Equal parts brilliant and total dumbass. A sexual abuse survivor genuinely trying to deal with her past so she can have a future — doesn’t hesitate to call you out on your shit and herself on her own. Great language chops and comic timing a must.

T - Male. 29. Haitian-American. A smart, lovable loser and sexual abuse survivor just trying to get through the day. Plays omega to Lola’s alpha — her strength and fight bring those qualities out in him. Great language chops and comic timing a must.

CHASE - Male. 35. Caucasian. Also plays SCOTT, 40s, and RUDY, 50s. A transformative performer with great comic timing who can play CHASE — a metalhead stoner with surprising empathy around trauma, SCOTT — a compartmentalizing, emotionally stunted 40-something 7-11 clerk, and RUDY — a shady, self-made New Jersey construction boss, immigrant capitalist and nobody’s fool.

MADELINE - Female. Late 30s. Caucasian. Also plays ANGIE, 50s, and ISABELLE, Latina, 50s. A transformative performer with great comic timing who can play MADELINE — a judgmental UES bitch secretly emotionally detached from life and using 12-step program meetings to feel, ANGIE — RUDY’s trophy wife who secretly runs him and the whole operation, and ISABELLE — Lola’s mom, a loving woman with a sense of humor and always more information than she lets on.

ERNESTO - Male. Early 30s. Latino. Also plays ANTONIO, mid-40s. A transformative performer with great comic timing who can play ERNESTO — a good guy / Manhattan barback Lola mistakes for a predator, and ANTONIO — Lola’s uncle, the fun, warm, charming uncle who sexually abused her at a young age and manipulates through innocence.
