SEEKING

TheaterWorksUSA, America’s largest theatre for young and family audiences, seeks stage managers for the 2021/2022 tour season.

Musicals:
DOG MAN: THE MUSICAL by Kevin Del Aguila and Brad Alexander
PETE THE CAT by Sarah Hammond and Will Aronson
THE POUT-POUT FISH by Matt Acheson, Christopher Anselmo, Jared Corak, Fergus Walsh
ROSIE REVERE, ENGINEER & FRIENDS by Lauren Gunderson, Kait Kerrigan, and Bree Lowdermilk

Plays:
CHARLOTTE’S WEB by Joseph Robinette
WARRIORS DON'T CRY written by Donnetta Lavinias Grays and co-conceived by Donnetta Lavinia Grays and Tamilla Woodard

New Works:
TBA (Potential workshop of a new musical based on a popular children's book TBA.)

ALL STAGE MANAGERS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC. Some tours will be traveling to Canada, so SMs must be able to travel outside of the United States. Some contracts would include an Artist Activity.

OTHER DATES

All touring productions tour various dates throughout the year. Contract length varies depending on the show. Shows only touring in the fall generally start rehearsing in late September and run until mid-December, and shows touring only in the spring start rehearsing in late December/early January and run until as late as mid-June.

ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carried reasonably by two members of the company.
