Dancers who sing for the ensemble. See breakdown.
PREPARATION
Bring dance attire. Also prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice, in the style of the show in case asked to stay and sing. Bring sheet music as well as your book.
Bring a copy of your picture and résumé, glued or stapled together..

BREAKDOWN
NICKI MARRON
30 to 40 years old, Black/African American, Female. Rachel's older sister; A very talented singer who has taken a back seat to her sisters rising star. Quiet type but attractive. Must be a very strong singer. Nicki must have a very soulful, gospel-tinged voice. She sings ballads in the show and so should have a warm resonance, excellent pitch and an ability to riff. Range from G below middle C to E at top of staff.
BILL DEVANEY
50 to 60 years old, any ethnicity, Male. Rachel Marron's long-standing Manager/Guardian Angel. He has looked after her from the start and runs her life. A kind and loyal man who always has Rachel’s best interests at heart.
TONY
30 to 40 years old, any ethnicity, Male. Rachel Marron’s security, broad shoulders, narrow hips, classic bouncer physique. He is fiercely protective of Rachel and would do anything for her; A kind man.
SY SPECTOR
40 to 55 years old, any ethnicity, Male. Rachel's publicist; deeply ambitious and doesn't suffer fools or indeed anyone who isn’t doing exactly what he wants; bullish and quick. His belief is that the whole Oscar nomination for Rachel is because of his hard work and his alone. He believes he is her driving force.
STALKER
20 to 40 years old, any ethnicity, Male. Rachel Marron's stalker, military type, weird, outcast; should be able to sing comfortably in a tenor range; has one featured solo vocal line.
AGENT COURT
30 to 40 years old, any ethnicity, Female. An experienced and knowledgeable CIA Agent; Excellent actor who sings well.
BACKUP SINGERS
18 and older, all ethnicities, Female. VERY strong female vocalists to serve as backup singers to Rachel Marron. Dance ability a plus. Rachel Marron understudy will likely come from this group.
ENSEMBLE
18 and older, all ethnicities, Male and Female. Fantastic dancers who sing. Will serve as backup dancers to Rachel Marron and understudy Principals.
