SPT $451 weekly minimum (plus health and pension) (SPT 5) RT transportation provided from theater in Ridgefield, CT to/from NYC (during tech rehearsals, housing will be provided in CT)

BREAKDOWN

SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL ETHNICITIES AND ACTIVELY SEEKING BIPOC, LATINX and AAPI PERFORMERS. ACT of CT is a fully vaccinated theater and all actors must provide proof of vaccination.

F1: Female identifying. 25-35. Sultry/Jazzy belt and mix. Savvy, sexy, and smart. Strong dance ability, ballet technique a huge plus and all around great dancer. Sings Don Juan, Some Cats Know, I'm a Woman” and others.

F2: Female identifying. 20-35. High belt and mix. “The Shimmy Girl”. Strong presence but with a sweet innocence at her core. VERY strong dance ability. Sings Falling, Trouble, I'm a Woman” and others.

F3: Female identifying. 25-40. Belts and mixes. trong presence, funny, and yet breaks hearts with her torch song. Huge gospel voice. Vocal styling like Big Mama Thornton or Aretha Franklin. Moves well. Sings Fools Fall in Love, Hound Dog, “Saved” and others.

M1: Male identifying. 25-40. TRUE Bass. Sultry low voice, solid. Part of The Quartet, must be good with harmonies, e.g. The Drifters, The Coasters, etc. Moves very well. Sings You're the Boss, Little Egypt”

M2: Male identifying. 20-40. Baritone. A smooth crooner who is part of The Quartet. Must be good with harmonies, e.g. The Drifters, The Coasters etc. Physically fit with strong jazz/ballet technique. Partnering a plus. Sings Spanish Harlem, Loving You, Poison Ivy;”

M3: Male identifying. 20-35. 2nd Tenor. Energetic, leader of the group; part of The Quartet, must be good with harmonies, e.g. The Drifters, The Coasters, etc.; Physically fit and moves very well. Sings Stand by Me, Youngblood, Love Potion #9”.

M4: Male identifying. 20-35. Tenor. Bright comic energy. Part of The Quartet, must be good with harmonies, e.g. The Drifters, The Coasters etc.; Physically fit and moves very well. Carries most of the comedy in the show, but also has dramatic turn with a killer falsetto for “I Who Have Nothing”, also sings “D.W. Washburn”, “Searchin’”

M5: Male identifying. 20-35. 2nd Tenor. Genuinely suave…like Elvis! True rock 'n roll voice and very strong mover; must be very good with harmonies because he joins the quartet for some numbers, physically fit. Sings Jailhouse Rock, Kansas City, Ruby”

1 Female Identifying understudy and 1 Male Identifying understudy will be hired from these auditions.
