Prepare a 1-2 minute classical monologue or other monologue showing command of verse. All should bring picture/resume.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem is currently seeking actors for their summer 2020 show, Will Power’s Seize the King, a bold re-imaging of William Shakespeare’s Richard III. Please note, all actors must possess strong language skills, i.e.: Classical, slam poetry, rap/hip-hop etc.

Actor Track 1: (M 30’s-50) Plays Richard III. Must be extremely well versed with classical texts and a high level verse speaker. Movement and physical dexterity are a plus.
Actor Track 2: (M 25-40’s) Plays Lord Hastings and various roles
Actor Track 3: (F 20’-40’s) Plays Queen Woodville and various roles
Actor Track 4: (F 30’s-40’s) Plays Edward V and various roles
Actor Track 5: (M40’s -60’s) Plays Lord Buckingham and various roles
