BREAKDOWN

SEEKING:

LAVINIA SHAW WILLIAMS: Female. Black. Mid/late-4os. Lavinia is the eldest Shaw sister. She is cheerfully domineering and is convinced that she knows what is best for everyone. She has rented out a vacation house in New Hampshire under the guise of a family reunion for swimming, antiquing, and barbecuing, but she is really planning to propose that the whole family consider living under one roof permanently. She is married to Morris.

MORRIS WILLIAMS: Male. Black. Early-5os. Morris is Lavinia’s husband. Though he sometimes challenges Lavinia’s thinking he lives by the motto, “happy wife, happy life” and ultimately assists in all of her antics. He loves his family deeply and has a great sense of responsibility.
