Equity actors. There are 2 AEA contracts to be cast among the available 4 roles. See breakdown.
PREPARATION
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, even if you have sent one. Prepare a brief comic (contemporary) monologue. Please email if you know you are coming.

Rehearsal schedule: August 18 thru Sept. 9, 2020. Runs: Sept. 10 thru October 4, 2020
Rehearsals: Tuesdays thru Fridays 11am to 5pm, Sundays 4pm to 10pm
Performances: Thursdays and Fridays @ 7:30 pm and Saturdays @ 7pm, Sundays @ 3pm
There are 2 Thursday Matinees on Sept. 17 and Sept. 24 @3pm.
There is one Wednesday performance on Sept. 30 @ 7:30pm

Pursuant to the terms of a concession made to this employer's agreement, the employer has agreed that any Equity member who attends this audition will have an opportunity to be seen.

BREAKDOWN
The following 4 parts will be considered for 2 principle AEA contracts:
Pablo Del Valle: A high-powered lawyer. Smart, likable, ambitious. Early thirties male. Born in Chile. Comes from wealth although his father has disowned him.
Tania Del Valle: Pablo’s very pregnant wife. Female. Early thirties. Smart, likable, positive. Passionate and highly energized. PhD candidate. Avid gardener. Mexican/American, born and raised in New Mexico.
Virginia Butley: 60’s to early 70’s conservative female. Smart, likable. Assertive, direct, no-nonsense engineer.
Frank Butley: Husband to Virginia. 60’s to early 70’s conservative male. Smart, likable. Excitable, caring, detail oriented. Federal employee. Avid gardener.
Note: There is a disagreement between the two couples over a long-standing fence line between their properties that spirals into an all-out war of taste, class, privilege, and entitlement.
