SEEKING:

GEORG NOWACK Male, mid 20s to mid 30s. He is the affable manager of Maraczek's Parfumerie; a somewhat soft-spoken/unassuming, regular guy. Wonderful singer with great "everyman" sensibilities.

AMALIA BALASH Female, 20s to early 30s. Attractive and strong-willed, but shy. Intelligent, bookish, sensitive but strong. Warm, soaring soprano.

ILONA RITTER Female, late 20s to 30s, she "gives the impression of a girl who's been around" but is longing for the real thing. Sexy with a heart of gold. Character belter with excellent voice.

STEVEN KODALY Male, 30s - Extremely handsome and dashing, he is a womanizer and cad. As he oozes charm, he gets away with his exploits more often than not. Elegant, refined, self-assured. Tremendously strong lyric baritone to G.

MR. MARACZEK Male - late 40s to late 60s - The genial owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. Old-world charm. Stern, playful, vindictive, warm, he has many sides. Character baritone - should have a pleasant voice, though it does not need to be particularly soaring.

SIPOS Male - 40s-50s - A compliant clerk at Maraczek's Parfumerie who will do anything not to lose his job. Character baritone, great comic actor.

ARPAD Male, 18+ to play late teens/early twenties. Indefatigable, boyish and winsome, he wants nothing more than to become a salesperson at the Parfurmerie. NON-EQUITY PERFORMERS ONLY.

THE HEADWAITER Male, 30s - 50s. Dedicated to the highest possible customer service, striving to ensure a "romantic atmosphere" at all times. One scene/one song, will also play ensemble roles. Comic genius with great singing voice.
