Please prepare a short song in the style of the show.
You may sing from the show. Bring headshot and
resume.

FOOTLOOSE Rehearsals begin in Wisconsin, February 11,
2013; Runs February 28 through April 14, 2013.

Personnel
Director Ed Flesch, Musical Director Mary Ehlinger,
and Choreographer Kate Swan will attend with
casting aurthority.

Breakdown

REN McCORMACK - excellent singer and dancer who can play high school age. Good-looking, smart, likable, charismatic, who has a cockiness which masks the hurt he feels from hisfather deserting him.

ARIEL MOORE excellent singer and dancer who can play high school age. Lovely, smart. She has a soft and sensitive side that is masked by her rebelliousness. Is drawn to Renbecause she is dealing with her own sense of loss.

REVEREND MOORE 30’s/40’s. Good singer/actor. A good, decent, loving man who is in pain over the loss of his son and the estrangement of his daughter, Ariel. A serious man whofeels the weight of responsibility for the moral life of his congregation

VI MOORE 30’s/40’s. Good singer/actress. Warm, loving, devoted to her husband and daughter. Tends to be deferential toward her husband but can stand up to him when thesituation calls for it.

ETHEL McCORMACK Ren’s mother .30’s/40’s. Good singer/actress. Obviously the source of Ren’s strength and determination. Fiercely supportive of her son.

RUSTY Ariel’s best friend. Excellent singer/dancer with comic ability who can play high school age. Fun loving, adventurous, energetic.

WILLARD - Ren’s best friend. Good singer/dancer with comic ability who can play high school age. A loyal, small town guy who is a perfect foil for Ren

LULU WARNICKER; WES WARNICKER; CHUCK CRANSTON 30’s/40’s. Good singer/actors. Townspeople who are good and decent at heart but are small-minded and provincial andafraid of change.
