Seeking:

(Note: Actors cast in Pride and Prejudice will also be cast in Little Shop of Horrors)

Mr. Bennett - The patriarch of the Bennet family aged 45+. Finds amusement in absurdity; often looks for respectable escape from the chaos of his family life. Can be somewhat apathetic; probably a bit depressed, under everything. Enjoys antagonizing. Disappointed in marriage.

Mrs. Bennett - The matriarch of the Bennet family aged 45+. Mostly a silly woman, of mean understanding and variable temper. Hypochondriac; when she’s upset, she fancies that she’s dying. The business of her life is to get her daughters married. She traumatizes her family with some regularity.

Lyrics and Book by Howard Ashman.
Director: Lee Soroko
Music Director: Michael Ursua

Seeking:

Audrey II (possible role for actor playing Mr. Bennett) – Bass/Baritone/Belt; Range: G2-G4. Any ethnicity. Their voice needs to convey that of a street-smart hustler with an understanding of funky Rhythm and Blues with a touch of Paul Robeson when needed.

Mr. Muschnik (possible role for actor playing Mr. Bennett) – Male; Range: G2-F4. Any ethnicity. 50+ The seasoned owner of the failing East Side Flower Shop. He is profit-driven, greedy, and manipulative. Think Herr Schultz from Cabaret gone bad.

Audrey – Female; Range: G#3-D5. Any ethnicity. Bleached-blond, Billie-Dawn-like, secret love of Seymour's life. She has poor self-worth and no real education, but incredibly good looks and a sweet and vulnerable demeanor.

Ensemble (role for actress playing Mrs. Bennett) - Female; Range: open. Will play Mrs. Luce, wino, etc.
