2 AEA Male Actors for the 2013 Season.

1 AEA Female Actor as possible replacement.

Preparation
Bring 1 comedic monologue not to exceed 2 minutes & a 1 minute song by Sondheim (or similar such as Finn or Guettle.) Be ready to sing the full song and have another contrasting song prepared in case one is requested. Bring sheet music clearly marked – an accompanist will be provided.

SEEKING:

TWO AEA MALE ACTOR/SINGERS
Both will perform in SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM plus ONE of the other shows in the season which are A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER.

Also seeking
AEA FEMALE ACTOR
As possible (emergency) replacement.


Rehearsals begin May 21st.
The shows run in Rep. on Friday – Sunday with two shows on Saturday. Note: FORUM has an additional performance on Thursday, July 4th.

Directions: FAU is located on Glades Road between I-95 and U.S. 1 /Federal Hwy.

If you are coming from the west: Take the first main entrance (left) to FAU (NW 10th Ave /West University Dr./Broward Ave.) Immediately on your right you will see a guard house. Enter the lot, let the guard know that you are attending an audition for the Theatre Department and ask for a parking pass.

If you are coming from the east: You will bypass the first entrance (NW 13th/ East University Dr./ FAU Blvd.) and take the second entrance on your right. Proceed as above to the guard house.

After you have your parking pass: You will take a right out of the guard house lot, back on to West University) and then take an immediate right on Indian River St. Go to the first 4-way stop and turn left on Brevard Ct. You will see the Living Room Theaters ahead and on your right. Your parking pass will allow you to park in front of the theatres. DO NOT PARK IN ANY OF THE FACULTY OR RESIDENCE LOTS OR YOU WILL RECEIVE A TICKET. After you park, you will walk past the Theaters on the east (right-hand as you face them) side. The next building on your left will be the Perf. Arts bldg. Past that and straight ahead is the Arts and Humanities Bldg. Enter the building, turn left and you should see someone waiting outside of the studio to sign you in.
