1st rehearsal: July 23rd. Runs: August 7 – September, 1, 2013. Matinees: Wednesday, Sunday.
Evenings: Wednesday through Saturday.

PRINCIPAL ROLES:
There are 4 AEA contracts to be cast among the following principal roles

Effie White – age: 18-30; high alto with a belt; strong & charismatic.

Deena Jones – age: 18-30; mezzo; beautiful, with an inner strength.

Lorrell Robinson – age: 18-30; soprano; lovely, sincere, optimistic; not brash.

Curtis Taylor, Jr. – age: 25-40; baritone/tenor; charming and ruthless

James Thunder Early – age: 25-40; tenor; easygoing & entertaining, moves well

C.C. White – age: 17-29; tenor; quiet but determined.

Michelle Morris, Joann (backup for J.T. Early) – age: mid-to-late 20s; graceful

Marty – age range, 30-45; friendly and easygoing

Wayne, M.C. – age range, 20-40.
