PREPARATION
Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a traditional musical theatre song in a style appropriate to the shows this season. Be prepared to sing an additional selection if requested. Performers are welcome to sing songs from the season. Bring sheet music in your key. Please bring picture and resume.

BREAKDOWN
Mad Hatter: Charming and charismatic know-it-all. He is free-spirited and energetic; mid 30s. A Victorian gentleman who is decidedly mad. Physical comedy skills a plus. Must sing and move well.
March Hare/King of Hearts: The Mad Hatter’s sidekick; a natural follower. Befuddled and wildly energetic; late 20s-mid 30s. Physical comedy skills a plus. Must sing and move very well.
Tweedle Dum: Charmingly rambunctious and more than a bit confused by the world he lives in; mid 20s. Twin brother to Tweedle Dee. Must sing and dance well.
Tweedle Dee: Charmingly rambunctious and more than a bit confused by the world he lives in; mid 20s. Twin brother to Tweedle Dum. Must sing and dance well.
White Rabbit: Self involved and perpetually “late” male Victorian in the form of a rabbit; mid 20s. Extremely energetic male performer who sings and dances well.
Alice: Proper and cultured young lady; late teens-early 20s. Though a distinct product of the Victorian era, she is naturally inquisitive and adventuresome. Must sing and move well. Prefer actress is no taller than 5’2”. Soprano. RP British dialect a plus.
Queen of Hearts/Matilda/Violet: Versatile Actress who play 3 distinct roles; late 20s-mid 30s. As Queen she is the terrifying mistress of all she surveys. As Matilda – she is the maternal big sister to Alice. As Violet – she is the leader of the teen “Mean Girls”. Must sing and move well.
Caterpillar: Mother Earth figure; late 20s-30s. Alice’s protector and guide. All knowing and wise, but with a wicked sense of humor and a killer R&B sound. Should move well. Seeking all ethnicities.
Rose/Lily/Petunia: 3 Teen “Mean Girls” in the form of a flower; early 20’s. Must sing and dance well.
