For Ain't Misbehavin': a brief song. For Always…Patsy Cline: a brief song (and for Louise, 16 bars and a side that will be provided). For The 39 Steps sides will be provided. Songs from the shows are fine..

Kevin Cochran, Director

Patsy Cline -- (25-35) Brassy broad with a phenomenal voice in the style of the iconic woman herself.

Louise -- (40-60) Any ethnicity. Texan with a heart of gold; huge fan of Patsy's; they develop a friendship through letters and brief visits.?It is through Louise that we learn all about the legend that is Patsy Cline.

THE 39 STEPS
1st Red July 9; Perfs July 20 - August 5
Amy Griffin, Director

Richard Hannay -- (35-45) Any ethnicity. Upper-class Englishman, handsome, square-jawed leading man, quite aware of how attractive he is. British accent.

Pamela/Annabella/Margaret — (mid-20s-late 30s) Any ethnicity . Versatile actress who will play three roles: Annabella, a mysterious and alluring German spy;
Margaret, the young, shy, very pretty Scottish wife of an older country farmer; and Pamela, our spunky, independent, and beautiful upper-class British heroine--the classic Hitchcock leading lady. Scottish, German, and British accents.

Clown #1 (20s-40s) Male or Female. Any ethnicity. Must be a superb comedic actor who will play many roles, with ages ranging from teens-60s. Cockney, Scottish, and English accents.

Clown #2 (20s-40s) Male or Female. Any ethnicity. Must be a superb comedic actor who will play many roles, with ages ranging from teens-60s. Cockney, Scottish, and British accents.

Charlaine -- (20-30) A sweet, young lady. The youngest of the group, and usually the butt of the jokes among the women. Mezzo-soprano. Must move well. African American.

Andre -- (30-40) Male An unrepentant, larger than life party animal. A jovial and unapologetic womanizer. Laid back, dapper, charismatic. Baritone. Must move well. African American.

Ken -- (30-40) Jovial, cheerful, and loud. Larger than life. Cheerful and personable. Tenor. Must move well. African American.

Nell -- (30-40) Confident and charming, she is a knowledgeable woman of the world. Alto. Must move well. African American.

Armenia -- (30-40) A voluptuous and sassy woman. Very strong-willed and not afraid to share her thoughts. Soprano. Must move well. African American.
