Male and female Actors for the upcoming production of GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER and ALL MY SONS. Please see breakdown for more information.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two Contrasting Monologues - 3 Minutes total audition. Bring headshot and resume.

Kate Keller (Mother) — Joe Keller’s wife, Chris Keller’s Mother. 60, maternal, protective of her family.

Ann Deever — 26, daughter of Joe Keller’s former partner, Chris Keller’s fiancé, former fiancé of Chris’s older brother (presumed dead by all but Kate). All ethnicities encouraged to audition.

George Deever — 31, is Ann’s older brother: a successful New York lawyer and WWII veteran, and a childhood friend of Chris Keller. He initially believed in his father’s guilt, but upon visiting him in jail, realizes his innocence and becomes enraged at the Kellers for deceiving him. All ethnicities encouraged to audition.

Jim Bayliss — 50- 60. Jim is a successful doctor, but is frustrated with the stifling domesticity of his life. He wants to become a medical researcher, but continues in his job as it pays the bills. All ethnicities encouraged to audition.

Sue Bayliss — 50- 60. Sue is Jim's wife: needling and dangerous but affectionate, she too is a friend of the Keller family

Bert — 7-9 years old. Bert is a little boy who lives in the neighborhood; he is friends with the Bayliss' son Tommy and frequently visits the Kellers' yard to play jail with Joe.

a domestic for the Draytons

HILARY ST. GEORGE (43), white. Associate Director of the Drayton Gallery

CHRISTINA DRAYTON (64), white. Runs the Drayton Gallery

MATT DRAYTON (67), white. Publisher of San Francisco newspaper, The Guardian

JOANNA DRAYTON (23), white. “Joey” recently interned for a medical research hospital in Hawaii

DOCTOR JOHN PRENTICE (37), black. A medical research doctor

MONSIGNOR RYAN (75), white. Longtime family friend of the Draytons

JOHN PRENTICE SR (63), black. Schoolteacher

MARY PRENTICE (59), black. Department store clerk
