SEEKING

Equity actors who sing for various roles. All characters are Cambodian & Asian American.

This play-with-music—which includes original songs and classic Cambodian movement tells the story of a traditional Cambodian dancer, suffering from psychosomatic blindness, who seeks refuge in New York, haunted by memories of the “killing fields.” Musical numbers range from operatic grandeur to beat - café jazz.

All stage management positions have been filled.

PREPARATION

Actors will read from sides, provided at the audition. Also prepare a brief song. Bring sheet music, accompanist provided on 3/4 ONLY. Bring picture and resume.

OFFER OUT. Female, age 20’s to 30’s Leading Role, Suffers from Psychosomatic Blindness,
haunting memories of the “Killing Fields” in Cambodia. Must have excellent signing skills in
Soprano range and move well.

DICATAOR
