CONTRACT

Special Appearance $254 AEA weekly minimum; Non-union performers will receive a stipend of $200 per week. No work weeks accrue for either EMC points or health insurance. Housing and one-time round-trip transportation are available to actors from outside a 50-mile radius of Catskill.

Auditions will be held in NYC on Monday June 10 from noon-5pm. Those selected to audition will be contacted for an appointment and provided with sides to prepare, a location, and an audition time.

Bridge Street Theatre is located in Catskill, NY, a two-hour drive north of Manhattan and about an hour south of Albany. All rehearsals and performances will take place in Catskill.

BREAKDOWN

EMILY: (This role has been cast) 20 year old college student. Brilliant science major.

BEN: Emily's father. 40s. A stay-at-home dad. Former scientist now an inventor. Bit of a dreamer with a dark past.

MICHAEL: Emily's friend and lab partner. A science nerd. Socially naïve.

LUISA: 35-45. Chicana. Hard-working manager of The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant. A single mom who is ambivalent about motherhood. Emily's boss. A seeker but down to earth. Good sense of humor and irony.

MEDIUM MOLLY: 40-60. A spiritualist with an endearing sense of humor. Practical, direct, and honest. Not a quack. A true professional offering access to the beyond in the way a psychotherapist does.
