She has the passion and drive to see it through. Alto pop belt. Mover. THIS ROLE IS CAST.
[ARNOLD ST. JAMES]
30s, any ethnicity, male. Nash South’s local meteorologist, with local celebrity good looks to match. He is truly sincere, honest and kind. He is loved by all of Nash South. Arnold is as American as a Norman Rockwell painting of apple pie. He’s a storm chaser and very content with the life he has built for himself. Arnold lives under a sliver lined cloud. High tenor. Comedic timing a plus. Mover, (awkward movers also welcome).

[UNCLE BENNY]
60s, Caucasian, male. Sadie’s uncle and owner of Uncle Benny’s Gas Station. Uncle Benny, being a true East-Texan, is full of piss and vinegar. He believes in hard, honest work and is a gruff straight-shooter. Uncle Benny is very wary of Sadie’s lofty dreams His sister, Sadie’s mother, was a very self-destructive woman, and he feels protective of Sadie because of this. Baritone/Bass.
[EDDY] Early 20s, any ethnicity, male. Country bumpkin. Sadie’s coworker and childhood friend at Uncle Benny’s Gas Station, Eddy is a blue collar American everyman. Dance a plus.
[CARLOTTA]

[ODYSSEUS DANGER]
Late 20s - early 30s, any ethnicity, male. He is 1950s slick while being rough around the edges. Odysseus is unfinished and untamed, but with the heart of an 8 year-old boy underneath it all. He is Nash South’s resident mysterious drifter. He follows the wind and road wherever they may lead…albeit, within a 50 mile radius of Nash South. Bari/Tenor pop/rock sound. Comedic timing/Improv skills. Strong mover - advanced dance ability a major plus.
[ALEXANDRA]
Late 20s, any ethnicity, female. She’s Nash South’s most popular girl. She yearns for small town fame, but at the heart of it, she really wants to be loved.
