Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, presents Eleemosynary by Lee Blessing. Tickets for this evocative story about love, personal identity and the importance of family are now on sale.

Eleemosynary begins with five Preview performances starting Thursday, May12. During the first four Previews audience members will have the opportunity to take part in the process of creating a show by participating in a talkback session with the director following each performance. The Official Opening Night is Friday, May 20 with the show scheduled to run through Sunday, June 12. Performances will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at eight o'clock and Sunday matinees at two o'clock with additional three o'clock matinees on Saturday, May 21, Thursday,
May 26, Saturday, June 4 and Saturday, June 11.

Sensitive and probing, this bittersweet comedy is a celebration of the beautiful, mysterious and painful bonds between mothers and daughters. A snapshot of the powerful familial love that defines our past, present and future, this masterful play examines the subtle and often perilous relationship between three remarkable women: a young girl, her mother and her grandmother.

The cast consists of Rebecca Covey, Julia Glander and Michelle Meredith. The Director of Eleemosynary is Lynn Lammers (Flap). The production team includes Set Designer Bartley Bauer (Blue Door, Five Course Love), Lighting Designer Ryan Davies (An Infinite Ache) and Costume Designer Lori Sands (Maidens, Mothers and Crones). The Stage Manager is Erin K. Snyder.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can for Thursday, May 12 (reservations highly recommended). Remaining Preview tickets are $15.00! Starting Opening Night, tickets prices are $24.00 for Friday and Saturday evenings, $20.00 for the Saturday matinees and $18.00 for Thursday matinee and evenings.
