VIDEO: Morgan James Discusses Her Upcoming Virtual Concert For the Wharton Center

The Wharton Center will present Morgan James and her husband, guitarist Doug Wamble, for a virtual performance on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 8pm. The duo will perform live from their home studio as they celebrate the one-year anniversary of her album "Memphis Magnetic." They will play some of their favorite songs off the album as well as classic covers.

She recently chatted with WLIX 10 about the upcoming performance.

"It's the year anniversary of my album 'Memphis Magnetic' so we really want to celebrate that and sing songs from that record, tell some stories about the making of the record," she said. "So it's going to be classic Memphis soul done in our acoustic way."
