Now midway through their second season, UnTheatre Co is being appreciated by audiences as "thought provoking", "refreshing", "cheeky", "lively" and "a welcome deviation from mainstream theatre". With a new menu every week and the audience in charge of the order of the performance it's impossible to see the same show twice which has audiences coming back again and again. UnSemble members write, direct, and perform their own original plays. Each play is delineated by a simple "Go" to begin and "Curtain" to end it, and the audience chooses the order of the plays based on a menu of numbered titles. At each performance, a six-sided die is rolled to decide how many plays will be replaced for the following weekend of performances.

Founder and Producer Christina Killmar had this to say about returning to Planet Ant, "It is such a fantastic venue. We love the work they are doing and are thrilled to be invited back to perform in their Black Box space. Many of our newest performers are Planet Ant trained and they've done an incredible job."

The "UnSemble" is comprised of performance artists and writers from all over the Southeast Michigan area. The cast of each weekend changes every week and is shared on UnTheatre Co's social media accounts.

Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind promises to be UnLike Anything You've Ever Seen in Detroit.
