Creation Entertainment brings The Official Twilight Saga Fan Convention to Detroit, today and Sunday, September 29 and 30.  This special weekend will take place at the Doubletree Sheraton Detroit NOVI, 21111 Haggerty Road, Novi, 48375.

The Official TWILIGHT SAGA Fan Convention will offer attendees the unique opportunity to involve themselves in all aspects of Twilight.  This weekend gathering will feature on-stage appearances by Twilight celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, Twilight themed parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, merchandising, and photo opportunities, Twilight merchandise and more.

Special on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT stars will include: Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley, Saturday and Sunday), Charlie Bewley (Demetri, Saturday and Sunday), Alex Meraz (Paul of the Wolf Pack, Saturday and Sunday), BooBoo Stewart (Seth Clearwater, Saturday and Sunday) and Casey LaBow, (Kate, Saturday and Sunday).

Hosting this weekend's show will be Hilly and Hannah Hindi from The Hillywood Show, a YouTube hit who are known for their hilarious spoofs from various movies.  They will also be performing skits, posing for photos and adding to the weekend of fun!

The fun will be kicked up a notch with a Saturday Night Cullen Wedding Reception Party, where attendee can dress in their finest vampire attire and dance the night away.  A separate ticket is required for this event.

General admission tickets are available in advance through www.twilightconvention.com and at the door for $15.  Show hours are Saturday, NOON - 6:30 PM and Sunday, 11:00 - 6:00 PM.  Tickets to the Saturday Night Cullen Wedding event are $69.

Detroit is one of the stops on this Official TWILIGHT Saga Fan Convention that is being done in conjunction with Summit Entertainment.

The film series stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen, a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away. But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them togetherŠeven when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires.

The action-packed, modern day vampire love story and blockbuster success was released in theatres on November 21, 2008.  The second installment of the film franchise, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON directed by Chris Weitz and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, released November 20, 2009 with the third film, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE directed by David Slade, released on June 30, 2010. The fourth film, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - Part 1, released on November 18, 2011.
