The beloved children's book series Junie B. Jones comes to life on the Meadow Brook Theatre stage with Junie B. Jones Essential Survival Guide to School, February 11, 2017 at 10am and 1pm. The show is recommended for K-5 students, tickets are $15 or $12 for groups of 8 or more.

From bus rules to band-aids, carpools to cookies, Junie B. and friends deliver the definitive word on surviving and thriving in style. With a jillion tips, tricks and trip-ups, Junie B. shares her hard-won expertise and shows us all how school is sometimes scary, sometimes super-fun, and ALWAYS something to sing about! An all-new musical adventure based on Barbara Park's popular book comes to Meadow Brook Theatre.

Junie B. Jones Essential Survival Guide to School marks the second play of Meadow Brook Theatre's 2016-2017 Children Series Season, sponsored by Genisys Credit Union. Each year, Meadow Brook Theatre (MBT) presents a series of performances designed to introduce children to the wonder of theatre and the arts.

The Children's Series will continue in May with Anne of Green Gables (May 6, 2017 at 1pm) the classic story of a vivacious orphan with a wild imagination and a breathless fascination. And conclude in June with The Velveteen Rabbit (June 10, 2017 at 10am), the heartwarming story of a stuffed rabbit and its quest to become real. Followed by Alice in Wonderland (June 10, 2017 at 1pm), a show packed with eccentric and fantastical characters that take guests on an imaginative ride based on Lewis Carroll's literary classic.
