Emergent Arts Presents Dark Comedy HOLLYWOOD AND HYDE November 7-22

Emergent Arts will present the play Hollywood And Hyde, a new dark comedy by Timothy Henning at the The Mix Studio Theatre, 8 N. Washington St., Ypsilanti, Michigan 48198. The play runs November 7-10 and November 14-17, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 6 pm, then November 20-22, Wednesday through Friday at 8pm. Tickets are $15 General Admission and $12 for Seniors and Students with ID. Hollywood And Hyde is a modern spinoff of Robert Louis Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde, with Henry Jekyll as a bitter out-of-work Hollywood actor whose young charge Gabby has begun to notice strange and violent happenings surrounding her friend. With the assistance of a motley gang of fellow Tinsel Town hangers-on, including a blowsy alcoholic cross-dressing TV stand-in, a punchy former heavyweight champ/television action star, and a jaded bartender who's seen it all and served them all, Gabby and Henry discover the strange truth behind the fiction of Jekyll and Hyde.

Featuring Larry Rusinsky as Jekyll and Cyd Heed as Gabby, as well as Tony Putman, Randolph Fitzpatrick, Eric Bloch, Paul Bianchi, David Kleitch, Ari Litman-Weinberg and Christopher Potter.
