2 The Myster of the Hamelin City THEATRO TSEPIS

Reconstructing the myth of Pied Piper of Hamelin, Thomas Moschopoulos presents a play for all ages that addresses the democratic principles, the role of political leaders in every democratic state, as well as the voters' responsibility.
Travelling through time, spectators are given a chance to save the innocent child they betrayed while growing up. Setting the action in a theatre-within-the-theatre, the director enables the viewers to choose the end of the story, as well as to reflect and retell their own version of it.

Pantelis Thalassinos presents an anthology of love songs inspired by Cypriot and Greek traditions, the rebetiko song, the Greek Nouvelle Vague and Old Athens music waves, as well as the Greek laïkó popular song and the composers of the later 20th century, combining the singer's own beloved songs and greatest hits.
Accompanied by Cypriot singer Christiana Pavlou, together they will present songs from their latest collaboration.

The Russian Theatre Season in Cyprus presents Mikhail Bulgakov's outstanding novel Heart of a Dog, staged by the Academic Drama Theatre of Vladimir, Russia.
Moscow 1924. Doctor A.F. Preobrazhensky conducts a dangerous medical experiment, implanting a human thyroid gland on a stray dog named Sharik, aiming to produce a new human model. However, the dog becomes transformed into an incapable and unbearable being that jeopardises the social position and the scientific status of its creator. Through a series of extreme situations, the protagonists seesaw between comic and tragic, questioning power, social institutions, the boundaries of science and nature itself. The play maintains the authentic atmosphere of post-revolutionary Russia, portraying the socio-political conflicts and the psychological state of the period's leading personalities, as well as the timeless character of symbols, circumstances and values.In Russian with Greek and English Suptitles

A journey into the Life and Art of Maria Kalogeropoulou Callas, the greatest soprano of the 20th century. Internationally acclaimed artist and Vienna-based Cypriot soprano Chryso Makariou, together with Bulgarian baritone Krum Galabov, and famous Greek actor Achilleas Grammatikopoulos join forces on stage accompanied by pianist Zbynek Maruska.
Guest musician: Theodoros Krasides (flute).
The concert will present extracts from the operas Norma, Tosca, La Traviata, Anna Bolena. Research and supervision: Dr. Spyridoula Katsarou, music scholar and historian.
The performance is held under the auspices of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs Andri Anastasiades. The event is organised by the Pancyprian Association "One Wish One Dream", supporting children with cancer and related diseases. All proceeds will go to the association "One Wish One Dream".

22 Music and Greek Cinema by the Psycho Quartet

Psycho Quartet consists of four virtuoso instrumentalists who share a long-standing friendship and professional relationship. Vivi Gkegka (mandolin), Mariliza Papadouri (cello), Dimitris Papangelidis (classical guitar) and Yiorgos Salvanos (piano) will present their first concert as a quartet in Cyprus and share with the audience much-loved songs from the Greek cinema, performed with joy, humour and nostalgia. Vasilis Gisdakis, one of Manos Hadjidakis' last collaborators, will be performing with them as a guest singer.
