Spanish sensation Gustavo Ramirez Sansano’s return to Columbus following the 2014 World Premiere of his work “Lovely Together” for Innovations and the 2014 Company Premiere of “18+1” for New Directions/New Works. Carmen.maquia opens at the Capitol Theatre on February 5, 2016 and runs through Valentine’s Day. “This nouvelle ‘Carmen’ twists, jerks, jumps and finally seduces for a tour de force as human and moving as the original,” said Sid Smith, Special to the Chicago Tribune.
