This fascinating, romantic journey begins with a simple encounter between a man and a woman. But what happens next challenges the boundaries of the world we think we know probing the infinite possibilities of their relationship and raising questions about the difference between choice and destiny.Constellations follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a theoretical astronomer, through their romantic relationship. Marianne waxes poetic about cosmology, quantum mechanics, string theory and the concept of multiple universes pulling peoples lives in various directions, and the play itself takes the pairs story through the stars to alternative realities where anything can happen and does.
Directed by Geoffrey Hoffman, with actors Max Elinsky and Laurel Hoffman, and live music by Bobby Williams.
