Tres Artis Studio For Actors with Francesco Campari - Intro/Interview Session:



Francesco Campari is an actor and director currently based in New York City. Born in Milan, Italy, he studied at a very young age at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and later at the Centro Teatro Attivo. He collaborated as an actor in multiple plays and roles under the direction of Marise Flach, and briefly with directors Peter Brook and Mamadou Dioume. In 2004 he directed several theater productions in Milan. Among these The Marriage Proposal by Anton Chekhov, Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, and Hamlet by William Shakespeare. In 2006 Francesco moved to New York where he attended acting classes with Robert Ellermann and completed the two year certificate at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. Afterwards he went on to direct several Off-Off Broadway plays such as Nineteenhundred by Alessandro Baricco, Fifth of July by Lanford Wilson, and Proof by David Auburn. In 2012 he directed the acclaimed production of The Science of Guilt at the DR2 theatre starring Vincent Piazza and Anatol Yusef (Cast members of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire). Some of his NYC acting credits include The Three Sisters by Anton Chekov, Rumors by Neil Simon, Clash by Night by Clifford Odets, and Blind Angels by Dick Bruckenfeld. Francesco has taught at prestigious institutions such as The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute, Stone Street Studios, and Tres Artis where he is presently the Artistic Director. He has also led various acting technique workshops in Germany and Italy. He is a member of the 2011 Lincoln Center Directors LAB.







Admissions: Entry to Tres Artis Studios is granted by Interview or Invitation Only

Requirements: Committed Actors, who will contribute to a Collaborative atmosphere

Structure: Explore and Review a variety of Exercises & Techniques, based on your individual needs as an artist

When: Ongoing weekly sessions Thursdays 12:00pm-3:00pm in Manhattan

Objective: Striving for Excellence, we will Hone the Craft & Career essentials required of the Working Actor

Benefits: Renewed motivation due to weekly contact with a strong, like-minded group, in a creatively safe space

Set & Achieve WEEKLY GOALS

Access to a pool of committed Playwrights and Directors from the Tres Artis Community, for your projects

This Spring: Option to Collaborate with our Playwrights and Directors towards the production of a Tres Artis Showcase, to be presented before an audience of art enthusiasts & industry leaders

This is a free intro/interview session; but if you are chosen to become a member, Tres Artis Studio for Actors membership is $125/month. You can officially begin, as a Tres Artis member, the following week/month.
