Location: Fairview, New Jersey or Ozark, MissouriOverview:iWeiss is a nationwide leader in manufacturing and installation of theatrical systems. We are seeking an induvial who is ready to work in the expansion and further development of our engineering department for systems that are geared toward live theatres, displays, themed environments, theme parks, cruise ships and other entertainment venues alike.Qualified individuals should be responsible, have a strong attention to detail, great problem solving abilities, and exceptional visualization skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office are a must. Adobe skills are preferred but not a requirement.This position is responsible for the following:Creation of production drawings from initial sketches and formal submittals to As Built packagesDesign of rigging elements and system componentsDriving solution-based conversations for projects and iWeiss productsCollaboration with Technical CAD staff to manage CAD library and standard practicesTravel for Project SurveysManagement of department?s schedule of deliverablesInterface w/ various departments (project managers, fabrication, field staff, engineers, and clients)Basic Qualification:High school diploma or equivalent.
