Street Team Job Opportunity - Frigid NY

We are building a small street team for Frigid NY (Kraine Theater).

The prime candidates will be outgoing and passionate about theater and supporting the arts.



Role/Responsibilities:

• Distribute fliers and post cards representing upcoming shows Targeting select locations.

• Familiarize yourself with both theaters Kraine theater and Under St Marks theater and the roles they play in the community

• Familiarize yourself with current and upcoming shows taking place at both theaters

• Be able to engage, talk to people about the shows and entice them to buy tickets for shows.

• Sell tickets on location via use of a tablet and Vendini ticketing (use of Vendini ticketing is quite easy and will be reviewed with street team members and it would be great if you had a iPad however one can be provided by theater for ticket sales)

• Post fliers in local businesses in vicinity of theaters.

Importantly, in addition to ongoing shows, the Frigid Festival is coming up in end of February and beginning of March with 30 producers, 150 performances between two theaters in less than 3 weeks. This is an important time for face to face promotion.



Time Frame

2 days per week days are flexible

2 hours per day (possibly longer or as needed)



During the Frigid Festival days and hours will be longer.



Compensation:

*Minimum wage

*Participation in staff parties and special events

*Free Admission to select shows

*Frigid merchandise
