Shop & Associate Production Manager

Full-time



TheaterWorksUSA is seeking candidates for a full-time employee to be responsible for management of our costume and prop shops, and fabrication of materials related to the company's national touring productions.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

01. Supervise the construction and maintenance of costumes and props for all TWUSA productions.

02. Identify, hire, and manage highly-skilled labor for both shops.

03. Collaborate with designers and TWUSA senior leadership to deliver costume and prop needs on budget and on schedule.

04. Manage use of costume and prop shop facilities.



Candidates should have an interest in our mission as well as a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a costume or prop shop environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, have a history of collaborative and dependable, and demonstrate strong managerial skills. Experience in prop and/or puppetry fabrication is desirable; comfort with light construction and carpentry is preferred. Experience with touring theater and facility management are a plus.
