ABOUT THE COMPANY The Random Farms Kids' Theater (as featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Fox News Channel and in the new Stagestruck book series) is a not-for-profit organization that offers musical theater programming to young people from kindergarten through college. The company was founded in 1995 and currently serves approximately 1,200 young people each year with an annual operating budget just over $1.2 million. Random Farms operates primarily in Westchester County, NY, though many of its participants travel from nearby counties in NY as well as CT and NJ. The organization is in a state of tremendous growth, with expanding program attendance, a growing Board of Trustees, and a capital campaign on the horizon. There are currently 7 full-time employees, plus several part-time independent contractors and resident artists.
MARKETING INTERN We are looking for a marketing intern interested in working part-time at our Elmsford, NY studio. Intern would work directly with marketing manager and managing director to help market and promote our theater programs for performers in grades K-12.
Key responsibilities would include: - Organizing and archiving photos from past Random Farms productions - Creating highlight slideshows for events and for social media - Uploading videos to Random Farms YouTube channel - Assisting in creating marketing materials (i.e. programs, posters, etc.) - Photograph and video rehearsal footage
Intern should be organized and digital/social media savvy. Photography experience is a plus!
