ABM is seeking part-time Marketing Interns for Fall and Winter. Start date is flexible.

Responsibilities:

» Assist the team with marketing brainstorming sessions & plans

» Research new opportunities for client marketing initiatives and document them within internal systems such as spreadsheets, internal project management system, etc.

» Establish partnerships & promotions with businesses and organizations via cold calls & emails

» Assist the Marketing Associate with the maintenance of social media pages, including researching content, creating posts, and responding to posts

» Rotate as a notetaker in client meetings, type out & distribute notes internally

» Assist team in providing weekly client updates

» Clerical work and errands as needed



Skills & Requirements:

» The ideal person for this position should thrive on being organized & detail-oriented

» The idea of a fast-paced office should excite you!

» Proofreading, proper spelling & working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides are a MUST

» Must possess proficient typing skills (a typing test will be requested prior to beginning an internship)

» Excellent verbal & written communication skills

» An interest in taking on special projects is a plus -- we love self-starters!

» Must be interested in the Theatre industry



Compensation & Benefits:

» Interns are paid $12 per hour and therefore upheld to the same standards as all other staff members

» Gain knowledge of how theatrical/arts marketing & advertising works

» Improve and refine your writing and research skills

» Complimentary show tickets for client productions

» Office snacks, team lunches

» Inclusion in client meetings (when appropriate)



Availability:

» Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week (can be a mix of whole & half days)

» Office Hours: M-F 9am-5:30pm

» Candidates who are available to intern thru the Spring (April/May) will be given priority.
