Listing Information: OPPORTUNITYThe part-time Company Manager will serve a crucial role as part of the General Management team at Classic Stage Company (CSC), an award-winning non-profit Off-Broadway theater company committed to reimagining classic stories for contemporary audiences. CSC is a home for New York?s finest established and emerging artists to grapple with great works of the world?s repertory that speak directly to the issues of today.CSC is looking for a part-time Company Manager for its upcoming 2019-20 season. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Candidates must be personable with excellent customer service instincts, be able to creatively solve problems, and possess a good sense of humor. This is a great opportunity for candidates starting a career in company or general management.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer/GM and the Assistant General Manager, this position is part-time (20 hours per week) and is primarily based out of the company?s administrative offices in the Gramercy/Union Square area of Manhattan. Additional hours will be required seasonally, largely dependent upon programming at the theater.
