Box Office Sales Associate - Shakespeare Theatre Company

The Shakespeare Theatre Company is currently seeking a full-time Sales Associate in our box office. Qualified applicants will provide the highest level of customer service to STC patrons and handle customer service problems as they arise while ensuring a positive resolution. The Box Office Sales Associate will sell and reserve tickets to all productions, process exchanges, and sell and renew subscriptions for our current and new subscribers with little supervision, and is expected to work evenings and weekends to distribute tickets during will calls, answer questions from patrons, and be able to provide a wide variety of information in a helpful and professional manner. Associate will be required to cover lobby reception and gift shop once a week, including accepting deliveries, selling merchandise, handling incoming calls, and directing patrons and visitors as needed. Candidates should have experience in Windows, a strong attention to detail, and a calm and pleasant demeanor. Preference will be given to candidates with proven Tessitura experience. This position requires early evening and weekend work. The box office strives to maintain a consistent schedule but days off will be dependent upon performance schedules.
